WPBakery makes Theme Integration more accessible for WordPress theme developers

Riga, 24.06.2026. – WPBakery, the page builder for WordPress used on millions of sites, has reduced the price of its Theme Integration (Extended) License from €299 to €69, a 77% decrease. The license is the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) that allows theme authors to bundle WPBakery Page Builder directly into a theme for commercial distribution – rather than requiring each end user to purchase a separate license.

Why this matters for theme developers

Bundling a page builder into a commercial theme has historically required theme authors to absorb a license cost several times higher than a standard single-site license. For independent developers and small studios – the majority of authors publishing to marketplaces such as ThemeForest – this alone used to be a real barrier – raising the upfront cost of offering page-builder integration as a theme feature, pushing some developers to either skip integration, pass the cost to buyers or build workarounds.

As Raitis Sevelis, WPBakery’s Head of Product shared: "We were pricing the Theme Integration License as a premium add-on, when for most theme authors it should be the default. At €69 it matches our single-site Regular license, so building a theme to sell costs the same as building one for yourself.”

At €69, the Theme Integration License removed the premium that previously separated "build a theme for yourself" from "build a theme to sell with builder support included."

What changes in practice

– Theme authors can bundle WPBakery Page Builder into a commercial theme for a fraction of the previous cost.
– The license is a one-time, lifetime purchase – no recurring fee tied to the lower price.
– Existing Theme Integration license holders are unaffected; this applies to new purchases going forward.

This change means lower upfront risk on a new theme, the tool becomes more accessible for smaller/cheaper themes; it removes the “pass the cost to the buyer” pressure and it is more affordable to test the idea of coming up with a new theme.

The theme license of WPBakery Page Builder and a 1-year subscription to customer support, WPB AI and services for SaaS products is available now here. Each purchase is a one-time license with one year of customer support, WPBakery AI and updates included.
